| Machine Remanufacturing
Remanufacturing
a Parker Majestic surface grinder is an economical way to
restore the original accuracy and reliability that was built
into every one of our grinders. Most of the machines that
we have built over the past years are still in regular service.
But nothing lasts forever and we offer a complete re-manufacturing service that will bring the performance of even the oldest grinder into brand-new condition.
Remanufacturing involves a complete teardown of the machine to its base castings and replacement of worn spindle, table, cross feed and down feed components. All other worn parts are replaced as required with new ones manufactured from original prints.
Then ways are rescraped and new lead screw/nut assemblies and handwheel bearings are installed.
In
addition, Parker Majestic updates the grinders electrical
components to conform to current performance and safety standards.
Finally, the machine is repainted. When the grinder is returned youll find that it is able to split tenths again and is ready for another generation of service.
